Founder and Director of Baldwin Place Animal Hospital. He is a
graduate from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. He
then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the
prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Haims
gained experience by working with various small animal and exotic
hospitals. In the past he has worked of emergency and referral
hospitals that cover New York and Connecticut regions. He is a
Federally and State Accredited Veterinarian. He is married to Carol,
who is a teacher in the Ossining School District, they have 2 children,
a dog, a Cockatoo, an Amazon Parrot, and a 3-legged hamster.

After many years of staying home to raise my two children, I made the
decision to reenter the work force. Knowing how much I have always
adored my two Golden Retrievers, working in a veterinary hospital
was my only desire. I have been working with the Baldwin Place
Animal Hospital since September of 2006

I am a licensed Veterinary Technician, and certified in veterinary
dentistry. I have more than 30 years of experience in the profession,
and love every minute of it. My intention was to be an Entomologist,
but my guidance counselor in High School said "Do you think you are
going to find a woman who is going to love you for bugs?" So I chose
the Veterinary field. That was 1975, the rest is history. I have
experience in both general and emergency practice. My love for pets
commensurates my tenure in this profession. Hobbies are: Model
Railroading and catching the elusive "Monster Brown Trout" in the
nearby reservoirs.

over 3 years. I am currently in school to become a licensed
Veterinary Technician. At home, I have a beagle, three cats and a
hairless rat named Kiwi. My love for animals has brought me to the
Baldwin Place Animal Hospital where I have been working since

My name is Samantha. I joined the Baldwin Animal Hospital Team in
September 2007. All my life enjoyed being around animals. I have
worked with dogs, cats and horses. At home I have three cats of my
own named Emily, Ernie and Eddie. My love for animals made me
realize that I wanted to work in the Veterinary field and become a
licensed Veterinary Technician. As of January 2008 I am enrolled in
a Veterinary Technician Program through Penn Foster to obtain my
license.
